The Production using 3D Printing of Fixture for Shaping Plastic Pipes

This Bachelor thesis compares two options in production of shaping form for plastic pipe - handmade production versus 3D print technology (specifically DMLS method). The thesis contains detail description of the final part and shaping form with pros and cons of both production methods. Handmade production is more suitable for serial production with its lower price. In time pressure 3D printing comes up with its fast and repeatable results.

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a business plan for the establishment of a confectionery with a handmade production in Šumperk. The first, theoretical part of the thesis, is focused on the definition of basic concepts in the field of thinking and definition of the activity, the business plan and its structure, especially the analytical and evaluative methods used in the second chapter. The analytical part of the thesis includes the analysis of external, field and internal environment which are analysed by means of collection of secondary and primary data in the form of own marketing survey among potential customers. The design part elaborates in more detail the selected strategy and the follow-up parts of the confectionery establishment plan to make the project workable and viable.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to create a well-arranged summary of the beginnings of the modern glass industry mainly in the Nortwestern Bohemia and to introduce Glaverbel Czech a.s. In my thesis I will describe the absolute beginning of glass industry, introduce the existing as well as the already ceased glass works in Northwestern Bohemia (mainly around the city of Teplice) and will present chosen examples of international cooperation in the area of flat glass production, e.g. France, Belgium, Great Britain, Japan. The most important part of this thesis will be the introduction of Glaverbel Czech a.s., its history, present and future development, glass types, visions and the position on EU markets, in which Glaverbel Czech a.s. exports its products.

The thesis is focused on the design of a wooden pedal car. It consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the particular history of toys and historical vehicles, nevertheless the market research of pedal cars is elaborated too. The practical part shows a functional prototype of the pedal car. The process of production is documented in every detail, from the early sketches to the pedal car construction itself. Designing and creating of the wooden pedal car was managed as handmade custom manufacturing. The integral part of the thesis is also the price calculation of the used materials, total hours and concluding discussion.
